Porcelain, natural stone and clay, laid on a full mortar bed with falls that actually work.
A patio fails for one of three reasons: the sub-base was thin, the falls were wrong, or the slabs were spot-bedded. We do none of those. Every slab is laid on a full wet bed over a compacted sub-base, with falls set away from the house and a drainage channel where the levels demand one.
How we do it

Excavate
Dig to formation, remove arisings, check for services.

Sub-base
Compacted hardcore in layers, whacker-plated to a surveyed level.

Lay
Full mortar bed, slurry primer on porcelain, consistent joints.
- 04
Point & seal
Brush-in resin jointing, cleaned down, sealed where the material calls for it.
